Advent 3B Sermon: Remembering Our Story

This week’s sermon builds on the previous sermon entitled “active waiting.”  Not only do we actively wait during the season of Advent for our Lord Christ to return, but we also “actively remember” our story as the people of God.

The Scripture Readings for the third week of Advent were:

    • Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11 
    • Psalm 126 
    • 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24
    • John 1:6-8, 19-28
