Pre-Launch Events

Like a growing baby in her mother’s womb, St. George’s is a church that is preparing to be publicly “birthed” in the Spring of 2013. According to the timeline for our Spring launch, we have began gathering for worship services, planning, prayer, and ministry events. These events are geared for people to connect and participate in launching our church. Throughout the summer we will begin having “Preview” Services at our launch location and will begin to invite people to visit and experience what we’re all about as a community. Tentative Event Dates For The Summer:

    • June 16 – July 10, Sun, 10 AM - Fr Ryan Teaching Series At St. Luke’s (meets at St. Thomas - 555 S. Cleveland – Massillon Road, Akron, OH)
    • June 23, Sat, 5PM - Worship Service at Harvest Presbyterian
    • June 26-329 - Multi Church VBS Mission Project at Union Sq Apartments.
    • July 7, Sat, 5PM - Worship Service at Harvest Presbyterian
    • July 15, Sun, 5 PM - Launch Team Meeting at St. Luke’s
    • July 21, Sat, 5PM - Worship Service at Harvest Presbyterian
    • July 29, Sun, 4-8PM - Picnic & Prayer with the “Friends and Members of St. George” – Memorial Park – entrance on East Homestead Drive — RSVP/Questions email Joy at medinaanglican@gmail.com
    • Aug 1, Weds, 7PM –  Church on the Square:
      • an engaging teaching & dialog from the Book of Acts, prayer, ministry, and community.
      • Bring a Bible (if you have one), a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, and a way God is (or isn’t) moving in your life
      • Alt. Rain Location = Cool Beans
    • Aug 8, Weds, 7PM –  Church on the Square:
      • an engaging teaching & dialog from the Book of Acts, prayer, ministry, and community.

    • Aug 11, Sat, 8AM – 1 PM- Outreach at the Freedom Racers Triathlon for Food at Lake Medina

      • We will have an info booth at the event and I would also like to have prayer teams available to offer listening prayer for folks at the event.

    • Aug 22, Weds, 7PM –  Church on the Square:

  • Tuesdays at 2:30 PM - Youth Confirmation Class (During School Year) – McDonald’s on Rt 3 - contact us to participate.
  • Wednesdays at 7PM – Church on the Square
