Our Rector

Father Ryan M. Kocak resides and abides, studies, pastors, and writes in Medina, Ohio with his wife Bridgette and daughter Anna Rose. Ryan is a graduate from Asbury Theological Seminary where he earned  a Master degree in Divinity with an emphasis in Theological Studies. Ryan is an ordained Anglican Priest in the Anglican Mission in the Americas (through the Anglican Province of Rwanda). He is the founder and acting director of Plant Medina as well as the Rector and founding pastor of St. George’s Anglican Church in Medina, Ohio.

Ryan is a contemplative activist, writer, freelance theologian, pastor, poet, gardener, and teacher. He has traveled to the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, Turkey, Germany, Afghanistan,  England, Kyrgyzstan, and has lived with the Masai/Samburu tribes in northern Kenya. He has served as a medic and chaplain in the U.S. Air Force, as an evangelist trained and mentored by the Navigators Ministryand as member of the Worship Design Team at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Ryan’s avocational topics of study include (but are not limited to): Church History, Global Christianity, Worship, C.S. Lewis, Missiology and Sacramental Theology. He is dedicated to inner healing, racial restoration, living out a vibrant and authentic spirituality, church planting, and helping others to continually grow deeper roots in Jesus Christ.
