Paul’s Thanksgiving

On every Thanksgiving, families across America gather together for a large feast. Typically both immediate and extended family try to attend, food is prepared, feasting occurs, and thanks is given for what we have.

At St. George’s we have a thanksgiving feast every week! Like the Pilgrims we are dependent upon another to provide the substance of our feast, namely our Lord Jesus Christ. Come on out this Saturday night at 6PM to worship in thanksgiving for the many blessings we have in Christ, as we remember his sacrifice on the cross by the breaking of bread in Holy Communion.

The Scripture Readings for Saturday (Christ the King on the church calendar):

  • OT Lesson – Ezekiel 34:11-16, 20-24
  • NT Lesson – Ephesians 1:15-23
  • Gospel Reading – Matthew 25:31-46

St. George’s meets at Harvest Presbyterian Church at 1095 East Reagan Pwky in Medina, OH at 6PM. Children’s Church and Nursery care for school aged children and infants is available.
